People told to take up Haritha Haaram
Collector, along with MLC Bhupal Reddy and local MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy, plants 250 saplings near Dr B R Ambedkar’s statue in Bharatinagar division
Patancheru: Sangareddy District Collector Hanmantha Rao on Thursday called upon people to actively take part on a regular basis in the haritha haaram programme to prevent damage to the environment.
He was speaking after planting 250 saplings, along with MLC Bhupal Reddy and local MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy, near Dr B R Ambedkar's statue in Bharatinagar division of Ramachandrapuram. Several local leaders were present.
The Collector complimented the legislators for showing initiative in taking up many development works. He announced that land acquisition for the new mandal office in Ameenpur has been completed.
Rao expressed happiness when the MLA announced to allocate the budget for the complex. Among those present on the occasion were corporators Sindhu Adarsh Reddy, Thonta Anjayya, market committee chairperson Pushpa Nagesh, TRS leaders Adarsh Reddy and Kumar Goud.
