Hyderabad: TRS MPs on Friday said that as part of election stunt Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to the city, would talk about free medicine supply.

The party's Lok Sabha leader Nama Nageswara Rao said that even Prime Minister Modi was coming to Hyderabad indirectly. He is coming to the city to talk on Bharat Biotech's vaccine program. "He may talk about giving free vaccine to the people, which will be nothing but election stunt. People should be cautious," said Nageswara Rao adding that the same was said during the Bihar elections. He said the PM could have said free vaccine to all the people of country.

The TRS leader lashed onto the BJP MPs for not bringing any benefits to the State. He said, there were four MPs from the State but they never talked on the interests of the state. He questioned why the BJP leaders did not question on the denial of flood relief to Telangana at a time when the aid was given to Gujarat and Karnataka.

He mocked the BJP manifesto in which it promised free travel to women in Metro. Why did the BJP oppose the scheme when it was promised by the Delhi government, asked Nageswara Rao.
