Police traces lost item within hours
Police were able to retrace a suitcase lost in an auto within 24 hours on Friday.
Sultan Bazar: Police were able to retrace a suitcase lost in an auto within 24 hours on Friday. As per details, Dr BV Raghu Kumar, a resident of Dammaiguda, boarded an auto near his residence and got down at Koti but forgot his suitcase in the auto.
The suitcase had a cash of Rs 62,000, cheque book and original RC of his car. He registered a complaint with Sultan Bazar police, who were able to retrace the lost suitcase with the help of CCTV footage of the location where he got down from auto. Based on the auto number, police could find details of the auto driver from the finance company which gave financial assistance to purchase the vehicle.
The auto driver was contacted on his mobile number and was questioned about the missing suitcase. Perplexed driver, who was not aware that suitcase was in his auto, handed over the suitcase to police after finding it in his auto. Dr Raghu Kumar thanked Sultan Bazar police for handing over the suitcase within 24 hours.
