Kukatpally: The colony roads of Kukatpally Housing Board have virtually become dump yards, with the GHMC vehicles carelessly dropping garbage on the roads.

Speaking to The Hans India, the local expressed their ire at the GHMC drivers for their negligent attitude. The roads have been generating foul smell from the piled-up garbage. The recent rain also resulted in mushrooming of mosquitoes and flies, they lamented.

They also said that they fear of spreading of dengue, malaria and other viral fevers. The residents alleged that the GHMC drivers, reluctant to go all the way to the dump yard, are leaving garbage on the roads and at vacant spaces. The GHMC officials were turning a blind eye to the issue.

The residents claimed that most drivers seen in Kaithalapur were minors and without licenses. The residents said that they fear that such drivers pose risk, as they drive recklessly. They wanted the officials concerned to take the issue seriously and to take some action.
