He said, "There are many constructions in Charminar area which are damaged due to lack of maintenance. Special funds have been allotted for their restoration." Directing GHMC and HMDA officials to adopt heritage places individually and develop them, Arvind said, "There are nearly 26 heritage constructions to be modified. In addition to Charminar and Golkonda, some more areas should get popularity.

Lad Bazaar, Mecca Masjid, Sadar Mahal, Chowmohallah Palace, Murgi Chowk, Shah Ali Banda clock tower are some of the places to be restored." He said that there was a plan to combine these places as tourist walkway. He reminded that footfall in Nizamuddin area in Delhi increased after recognising it as heritage place.

New-Delhi cluster officer from UNESCO Junihan, Agha Khan cultural trust CEO Rathish Nanda and others also participated in the meeting. Junihan gave a power point presentation on green cities construction.

Prashanth Benerjee and Rathish from Agha Khan Trust explained about the restoration of Quli-Qutubshah and Humayun tombs in traditional way. Engineering and town planning officials of GHMC, HMDA and municipal department were 0present.
