Kishan for total ban on use of plastic

Tarnaka: The Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, G Kishan Reddy on Sunday mooted a total ban on the use of plastic items. Speaking as the chief guest, after distributing new clothes provided by the Bharat Sevashram Sangh at the party office in Secunderabad constituency in connection with the Dasera festival, he stated that total ban of plastic was necessary to protect the environment and saving cows. He pointed out that plastic would affect soil fertility also.

Among those present were sangh organiser, Swamy Myunishwaranand, Swamy Venkateshwaranand, BJP leaders Bandapalli Satish Goud, Raviprakash Goud, Mekala Sarangapani, Mallesh, Venu Yadav, Srinivas Chary and Raghu Varma.
