Stop drainage overflow, Corporator V Srinivas Reddy tells officials
Ramnagar division corporator V Srinivas Reddy visited Ambedkar Nagar along with Jalamandali DCM Srinivas Rao on Friday. They went around the colony on drainage overflow, following several complaints by the locals.
Musheerabad: Ramnagar division corporator V Srinivas Reddy visited Ambedkar Nagar along with Jalamandali DCM Srinivas Rao on Friday. They went around the colony on drainage overflow, following several complaints by the locals. Corporator urged GHMC officials to address the issue at the earliest as locals had been facing severe inconvenience.
Speaking on the occasion, V Srinivas Reddy said that the residents of the basti have been facing severe inconvenience due to drainage overflow due to incessant rains since last week. Many instances of viral fevers were reported from the colony and issue needs to be addressed at the earliest, he said. Srinivas Reddy said that GHMC has made necessary arrangements for Bathukamma festival. 450 streetlights and 13 artificial ponds were provided for the celebrations, he said.
HMWSSB inspector Venkatesh, TRS division president Resham Mallesh, Basti president Sathaiah, Sirigiri Shyam, Mahesh, Prakash Reddy, Harish and others were present on the occasion.
