Stray dog menace troubles residents at SBH Colony in Uppal

Uppal: The stray dog menace has increased in the past two months at SBH Colony in Uppal. The dogs are creating panic among the people mainly pedestrians in the city. Despite repeated complaints by the citizens, the civic body is adopting a callous approach in addressing the menace, fumed the locals.

K Prakash, a resident, said, "As the dogs are moving in packs on the roads, people are not daring to walk lonely. There is always a huge pack of stray dogs in the area. Our children don't get out of the house to play because of the fear of these dogs. It has become dangerous for the elderly citizens, too, in our colony."
