Osmania University: Student Unions Joint Action Committee leaders and activists on Monday paid tributes to RTC workers Srinivas Reddy and Surender Goud who committed suicide.
They garlanded the portraits of the workers. Later, they were arrested near the library as they were on their way to lay siege to ministers' offices. They called upon RTC workers not to take extreme steps.
They demanded that the state government cancel the extension of holidays given to educational institutions. They urged the Governor to intervene and solve the RTC workers problems.
N Ramesh Mudhiraj, M Assappa, Sd Saleem Pasha, S Nageshwar Rao, Prathap Reddy, Paladugu Srinivas, Sharat Naik, Kota Anand and others were present.
