Traffic goes awry due to signal malfunction

Balanagar: The traffic signal at Balanagar Junction is not functioning for the past one week. That's the reason the commuters are facing difficulty to travel from this road.

"The traffic issue has become intolerable, especially during peak hours and despite several complaints by commuters, the authorities had not fixed the signal yet," said Zohaib, a commuter.

He said that traffic lights were not working here for two weeks and no one was there to monitor the situation as it was getting worst day by day.
