Water supply resumes in West Marredpally
Water supply has been restored in West Marredpally. The whole area was not getting regular supply for the last one week.
Secunderabad: Water supply has been restored in West Marredpally. The whole area was not getting regular supply for the last one week. The Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) water wing officials said that the supply has been restored. There were technical glitches.
Shashank Surya, assistant engineer (civil), Water and Street light Department, SCB said due to multiple maintenance issues the water supply was shut down at Marredpally, now the problem has been solved.
He also said that in 10 days we have received several complaints from locals about the taps got dry. We were supplying water through tankers in the residential areas. It took little time as they were a serious blockage in the water pipeline. On Monday afternoon the problem was rectified.
