Visakhapatnam: Government schemes should reach every eligible beneficiary, said District Collector V Vinay Chand here on Saturday.
Addressing a review meeting held with Joint Collector–II Arun Babu, bankers and other district officials, Vinay Chand exhorted the bankers to cooperate with the officials concerned in implementing government schemes in a hassle-free manner.
The Collector stressed that Visakhapatnam should be at the forefront in the State in implementing government schemes.
Joint Collector Arun Babu said the eligible beneficiaries who did not apply for 'Jagananna Thodu' scheme can apply in a month's time. Joint Collector-III Govinda Rao, DRDA Project Director Visweswara Rao, UCD PD Srinivasa Rao and MEPMA PD Sarojini participated in the meeting.
