Groom held over AIDS drama to stop wedding in Karnataka
The police have arrested a man for playing AIDS drama to stop his wedding, which was fixed by the family elders.
Bangalore: The police have arrested a man for playing AIDS drama to stop his wedding, which was fixed by the family elders. According to the sources, Kiran Kumar of Bangalore is supposed to get married to a woman who was selected by his parents, and the wedding was arranged on December 1st.
However, Kiran was not will to get married and planned to stop it in any way. In this context, he told the bride's parents that he has AIDS, and if this marriage happens, then their daughter's life will be ruined and asked to cancel the wedding.
On hearing this, the bride's parents were shocked and postponed the marriage. The family members took Kiran to the hospital and done an HIV test, which resulted in negative. When he was confronted, Kiran admitted that he was not will get married and to stop it, he played this drama.
Over this, the bride's parents lodged a complaint with the police station. On receiving the complaint, the police registered a case, arrested Kiran Kumar and sent him to remand.
