Kurnool: A man killed his youngest son after suspecting that he was not born to him. This bizarre incident took place at Chinthaman Palle village under C Belagal police station limits on Saturday.

According to information, Nageshwar Reddy and Saritha were married about 7 years ago. They got two boys of age five and two.

For the past some time, Nageshwar Reddy was suspecting that the younger son Sandeep Reddy was not born to him. There were frequent quarrels among the couple. On Saturday he slit the throat of Sandeep Reddy and killed him. Later he fled from the spot. At the time of incident Saritha was not there.

She was shocked on noticing her younger son lying in a pool of blood. She immediately shifted him to hospital with the help of neighbours but doctors declared him `brought dead.' The report was informed to C Belagal police.

The Sub Inspector of C Belagal police station, M Raja Kullayappa said that the accused was suspecting that his younger son Sandeep Reddy was not born to him. This has prompted him to kill Sandeep Reddy. We have filed a case under section 302 IPC and took up investigation. A man hunt was also launched to nab the absconding Nageshwar Reddy, added Kullayyappa.
