One held for cheating people as Ministers PA in Nellore district
The police have arrested a man who cheated many by duping himself as Minister's Personal Assistant (PA) in Nellore district.
Nellore: The police have arrested a man who cheated many by duping himself as Minister's Personal Assistant (PA) in Nellore district. The accused G Vamshi Krishna Reddy duped many people in the name of PA of Minister Mekapati Goutham Reddy and collected huge amounts.
As Vamshi's car also has YCP posters, the victims believed him and gave lakhs of money to get their works done. On knowing about the incident, Minister's PA Manohar Reddy filed a complaint with the police. Over receiving the complaint, the police got into action and took the accused into their custody. The investigation revealed that Vamshi was cheating people and collected nearly Rs 1 crore in the last five months.
Besides, the police also identified that several cases were also registered against the accused in Hyderabad and Nellore. Further, he is also involved in a murder case in the past. Police seized a Skoda car and two mobile phones from his possession.
