Bajaj has started taking bookings of its 125cc premium commuter motorcycle, the V12. After the V15 having fetched a good number of sales due to its commuter friendly nature and patriotic significance, the Pune based bikemaker decided to introduce this low capacity sibling.

However, the motorcycle is due for its official launch soon. Following the resembling appearance to its bigger sibling, there can be witnessed a few dissimilarities in both the bikes.

The front section appears to be exactly identical but the Bajaj V12 misses out on a front disc brakes. The 5-spoke alloy wheels also differ to that of the V15. The broadness of tyres could be expected to be slightly narrow compared to that of the elder sibling.

Other design bits of the V12 have been retained completely from the V15 with rear seat cowl, giant curvy tank, hexagonal headlamps and outstretched narrow tail lamps. The riding posture is also identical to that of the V15.

The Bajaj V12 is powered by a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine and is mated to a five-speed gearbox. As of now, we can just guess the power figures as the mechanical details of the motorcycle are not yet completely revealed.

It is expected to produce 10.5 BHP of power and 12 Nm of torque. The Bajaj V15 was launched in February this year and has been doing remarkably well in the market. Bajaj expects the same results from the upcoming V12.
