Call 1098 to make AP free of child labour: Sathi Babu
Railway Protection Force (RPF) DSP, Sathi Babu said that if any organisation is encouraging child labour people must inform to the police officials or District Women and Child Development Agency official through the child line-1098, a toll free number.

He said that people should be protected the child labour and need to provide best education to them because children could not fight for their rights.
In the awareness program on World Day Against Child Labour, organised by Krishna district Forum for Child Rights, Sathi Babu said, “Children should be provided good education.” “Forum for Child Rights and SKCV trust members rescued children from Railway stations and bus stands in the district,” he added.
Vijayawada Railway Station in charge Superintendent, Srinivas, said that railway passengers can inform to the officials through the child line-1098 toll free number and asked the passengers to support in preventing child trafficking and protecting children.
District Child Protection Officer Ch Vijay Kumar said that District Women and Child Development Agency officials were working with NGOs for welfare of children and also rescued children from industries and other sectors. SKCV trust founder Sridhar Reddy, Child Line Help Desk founder and others also spoke.
