A small function was organized by Reliance Industries Limited, Gadimoga today at Surya Kalamandir, Kakinada to Distribute Educational Kits to Government Schools of its project Area. J Radha Krishna Murthy, Joint Collector-II, East Godavari District attended the programme as the Chief Guest. S Abraham, District Educational Officer, East Godavari Also attended the programme. They distributed Education Kit worth Rs 30 lakh comprising of two pairs of uniforms, school bags, school shoe and Note Books to about 2000 students.

Reliance Industries Ltd as part of its corporate social responsibility, has been distributing education kits every year from 2006 onwards to all the students who were studying in and around villages of Reliance Project Area. This has resulted in decrease in School drop outs and increase in enrolment in Government Schools.

While addressing the students, J Radha Krishna Murthy appreciated Reliance Industries for their gesture and advised all the students to remember the Founder Chairman Late Sri Dhirubhai Ambani for his hard work and vision which has benefited lakhs of families directly and indirectly. He advised all the students utilise these benefits and try to bring out their internal skill.

S Abraham, DEO added that the East Godavari got first level in Digital Class Room programme in Andhra Pradesh. DEO further appealed Reliance Industries to give support in establishment of Digital Class Rooms in East Godavari. S Sudhir, GM, Finance, SRM Rao, P Subrahmanyam, S Ramana Rao of Reliance, Teachers and parents attended the programme.
