Expressing solidarity to the agitating residents of Indira Satya Nagar here on Wednesday, the AAP leader promised to escalate the case to the Apex Court through their advocates in New Delhi.

“The Municipal Corporation had passed a resolution to lay road in 40 feet and not demolish the residences. However, it is now trying to demolish the houses for some bigwigs in the city,” he alleged. The AAP would protest the corporation's move and fight for the residents of Indira Satya Nagar.

He appealed to all the parties to support the residents.The BC Welfare Association secretary, K Harika said that the inhabitants have been living in the area since five decades and questioned the corporation’s order.
