RMC honours motherhood with Ammaku Vandanam
The Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) has organised Ammaku Vandanam, a programme to honour mothers in the municipal schools at Tummalava and Veerabhadrapuram here on Monday. The students washed the feet of their mothers and performed pooja to their feet with flowers.

Participating in the programme, Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai said, “Without Amma, there is no universe and Amma plays a pivtol role in the life of everyone. It is the duty of everyone to respect Amma, who brought us into the universe. We cannot compare anyone with Amma. The god created mother as it is not possible to god to see everyone.”
She advised the students to listen to their parents and respect them. “RMC has initiated steps to tell the importance of parents in its schools,” she added. Deputy educational officer, Dileep Kumar and others were present.
