Chirala MLA promises to upgrade drainage system
The Chirala MLA, Amanchi Krishna Mohan has said that upgradation of sanitation and drainage system helps the public to have hygienic surroundings.
Chirala: The Chirala MLA, Amanchi Krishna Mohan has said that upgradation of sanitation and drainage system helps the public to have hygienic surroundings.
He visited various places in the Chirala town on Monday and interacted with the sanitation workers and the common public to know the issues related to the sanitation.
The MLA said that they had created a complete sanitation programme for the town and had plans of modernisation of 230-km-long drains in 33 municipal wards. He visited the drain junctions at the Court Road, Kunderu, Government Hospital, Gunjipalem and Ramakrishnapuram and announced their modernisation immediately.
He asked the public to keep their surroundings clean as they do their homes and cooperate with the local body. The municipal chairman, Ramesh Babu, Commissioner Srinivasa Rao, DE Ganapati, councilors Guddanti Satyanarayana, Janjanam Srinivasa Rao and others also toured with the MLA.
