Awareness programme on research for staff
The Secretary and Correspondent of QIS Institute of Technology, Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy and its president Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao announced that they conducted an awareness programme on researches and their importance for the teaching staff in the college.

They said that Dr Gadde Anand Swaroop, researcher and mathematician at Melbourne University, Australia and Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai was the chief guest and resource person for the programme. Dr Anand Swaroop explained the staff about the importance of researches and their benefits to the professors in India to the participating staff.
He explained them about various institutions that were supporting the researches and the necessary steps to follow in selecting a topic for the research. He said that a small idea can change and boost up the research at times and asked the staff and students to have a better idea about the research activities. He explained his researches at the TIFR and Melbourne University with examples to the professors.
The college principal Dr CV Subbarao said that the programme was arranged for the skill development of the professors and for their encouragement to drive the students towards researches.
