Distribution of pensions begins

Pension distribution for the poor and disabled persons began in the city on Thursday. Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vijayarama Raju informed that there were 18,247 pensions in all the 50 divisions in the city.
Rajamahendravaram: Pension distribution for the poor and disabled persons began in the city on Thursday. Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vijayarama Raju informed that there were 18,247 pensions in all the 50 divisions in the city.
He informed that they had distributed pensions to as many as 7,566 persons so far. He ordered the staff to distribute the pensions to all the disabled persons, old aged persons and widows in a queue system. He informed that until Thursday, they had distributed Rs 80.63 lakh worth pensions. The Commissioner said that their staff would distribute pensions on the Saturday also from 6 am to 6 pm.
