Polio drops administered to kids
VMC Commissioner J Nivas said second dose of Pulse Polio drops was successfully administered to as many as 1,32,122 children below five years in Vijayawada on Sunday. He participated in the Pulse Polio programme at SV Subba Reddy Municipal School here.

He said all the parents should feel the responsibility and cooperate with the department and get their children immunised with the second dose of polio drops. Mayor Koneru Sridhar participated in the programme at Chief Minister Health Centre and Chennupati Ramakoteswara Rao Indoor Stadium, Patamata.
Earlier, District Collector B Lakshmikantham participated in the programme at CM Health Centre, Giripuram. MLA Gadde Rammohana Rao, MLA Bonda Uma Maheswara Rao, MLC Buddha Venkanna and local corporaters participated in the immunisation programme at different places.
