Civic chief inspects water pipeline works

Guntur: GMC Commissioner Challa Anuradha, on Wednesday visited BR Stadium in One Town area and enquired about drinking water supply with the local residents. She instructed the officials to supply drinking water through tankers.

She inspected drinking water pipelines shifting works from drains in Anandpeta area and also inspected sanitation. She asked the officials to complete the water pipeline shifting in stipulated time to revive drinking water supply.

She instructed them to check chlorine percentage in drinking water everyday and directed them to remove silt from the drains and clean the drains. She ordered the officials to take steps to remove garbage from the dustbins.
