Financial aid for pregnant women

Hyderabad : Commissioner of Health and Family Welfare Poonam Malakondaiah issued instructions to the health officials concerned to take all necessary steps in shifting pregnant women to government hospitals in time for conducting their deliveries safely and successfully.

Speaking at the review meeting, she told that the pregnant women opting for institutional deliveries would be sanctioned an assistance of Rs 1,000A under JSSK scheme immediately. She ordered that if any woman, under emergency conditions delivered the baby at home, would be granted an amount of Rs 500.
