FSMEAP Chief Denies Charges of Wrong Doing, Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises of AP. According to him, the central government released Rs 20 lakh for the training centre while the state government allocated Rs 84 lakh.

Hyderabad: A P K Reddy, Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises of Andhra Pradesh (FSMEAP), had strongly rebutted the allegations levelled against him that he had done something wrong when he the President of another industry body Fapsia. In a statement, Reddy alleged that false case was filed against him by current leadership of Fapsia under Section 420 on the charges that he was instrumental in returning certain land allotted to Fapsia back to the State government. Reddy was recently arrested in this case and released on bail.
“State government allotted 2058 sq yards of land on a 30-year lease to Fapsia in 2001 for setting up industrial training centre (SSI centre). This was done on the direction of the central government which wanted to set up such centre in the Balanagar area. As the Fapsia was actively involved in the development of industrial sector, the industry body was given the land and asked to manage the training centre,” Reddy explained.
According to him, the central government released Rs 20 lakh for the training centre while the state government allocated Rs 84 lakh.
