Hyderabad: The special CBI court Nampally on Monday rejected YSR Congress Party chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's plea seeking further relaxation in the bail conditions. Jagan’s lawyers approached the court to grant permission to visit State capitals to meet leaders of various political parties.

In a petition seeking court's permission to travel to different States, Jagan said that as the president of a political party, he was required to carry out various activities not only in relation to the party and his constituency, but also in relation to the interests of the general public of state. In his application, he further pleaded that it would be absolutely necessary and compelling for him to travel and visit various places and conduct political activities, including touring other States, in view of the current political crisis faced by the State and the upcoming elections in the year 2014.
