Hyderabad: YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on Monday warned his party leaders that he would not tolerate any indiscipline in the party. Addressing the first extended meeting of the party, Jagan said that YSRCP would give tickets only to those who work hard for strengthening the party in the next general elections.

The meeting discussed the party’s preparedness for the general elections besides internal squabbles, poll campaign strategy and the measures that need to be taken to intensify the united Andhra movement.

Jagan said that it was the duty of all the leaders to work towards success of the party in the coming election. Those who work hard would be given utmost importance in the party as well as in the allotment of seats in the election, he said.

Party sources said Jagan instructed the party leaders to set up booth committees in every village.

2014 agenda

YSR Congress Party on Monday announced that its poll plank for the 2014 general elections would be “United Andhra, development and welfare” of the people. Addressing the media here after the party’s extended meeting, senior leaders K Ramakrishna and Bajireddy Govardhan said that the party resolved to stick to its stand in support of united Andhra.
