It is not so surprise that Shankar Rao praises Sonia Madam as she is the one who made separate Telangana happen.
Earlier too, he had said that a temple needs to be built for Sonia Madam and poojas offered. Now, not so surprisingly this former Andhra Pradesh minister on Thursday suggested to the Centre to name the new state carved out of Andhra Pradesh as 'Sonia Telangana'.
Sr Congress leader P Sankar Rao politically famed as Sankar Anna asserted: "I am putting forth this demand, as she has prevented more individuals in the region from committing suicide for the Telangana cause this should happen. Over a thousand people have committed suicide till the announcement on the creation of Telangana state was made. However, there were no suicides reported in the last 70 days."
Terming Sonia as the mother of Telangana, Sankar Anna said he is likely to install a statue in Hyderabad by December which would resemble the face of the AICC chief. He has also met the GoM who are busy looking into the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
Now, the buzz is if he should be called May-dum Anna instead of Shankar Anna. But one wonders what is he expecting in return.
