Bardhan to Attend CPI Annual Day Fete, 88th foundation day celebrations at Makhdoom Bhavan. Various communist groups should have mutual understanding and work in coordination to instill confidence among the comrades

Hyderabad: The Communist Party of India will organise 88th foundation day celebrations at Makhdoom Bhavan here on December 26. Former General Secretary of CPI AB Bardhan will take part in the celebrations and hoist the party flag. The CPI was formed at the first Party Conference held at Kanpur on December 25 in 1925. Speaking to the newsmen here on Wednesday, the CPI State secretary K Narayana called upon the Communist forces to fight unitedly against the onslaught of the bourgeois parties, which occupied the space meant for socialist forces.

Various communist groups should have mutual understanding and work in coordination to instill confidence among the comrades, Mr Narayana added.

Commenting on the State bifurcation issue, he said some parties in the State are yet to clarify their stand on the separate Telangana State formation issue and they have no clarity on whether the State would be divided or stay united.

“Indulging in self praise and criticising other parties are the ways adopted by most of the political parties having hidden agenda prior to the General Elections,” he noted.

The CPI leader felt that strengthening the Communist Parties from the grass-root levels in all State should be the priority for fighting on various issues.
