Rajahmundry:: The Secunderabad bound Goutami Express train pulled out of the Kakinada station without its Second Class A2 coach today.

Later, passengers of the A2 coach had to be transported to Secunderabad by another train, Rajahmundry Railway Station Master BHV Sharma told PTI here today. Before starting from Kakinada, the Second Class A2 coach of the Secunderabad bound Goutami Express developed some electrical snags which were rectified.

However, the train left for Secunderabad without its Second Class A2 coach, which went unnoticed by railway officials.

When the train reached Rajahmundry railway station which is on the way to Secunderabad, passengers who had booked tickets for the Second Class A2 coach, found it missing and informed the station master. After verified it, the station master too realised that the train indeed had no Second Class A2 coach.

Over 40 passengers who had booked tickets for the Second Class A2 coach, had to be transported to Secunderabad by another train, the Rajahmundry railway station master said.
