Congress party is likely to lose its grip and power in Seemandhra region with the decision taken by the party high command to divide Andhra Pradesh. Almost 25 congress MLAs hailing from 13 districts of Seemandhra, now eye on other parties. It is learnt that these leaders are of the opinion that there will not be any future to them, if they remain in the Congress party, even after bifurcation.
It is also learnt that 3 of these rebel MLAs are the ministers in the state cabinet, who decided to leave the party. On Friday’s press conference the PCC president, Botsa himself has revealed this matter.

After the 2009 general elections, Congress Party had more than 100 MLAs. With the merger of Praja Rajyam Party, more 18 MLAs have been added to the number. But, when no confidence motion was passed in state assembly, before two years for the first time, almost 17 MLAs had left the Congress party to join YSR Congress party. Of these 17 MLAs, 15 MLAs won again with YSRCP ticket. When the no confidence motion was passed in the state assembly for the second time, more 9 MLAs left the party. Now, almost 25-30 MLAs are decided to leave the party.
It is also learnt that apart from the 1st grade leaders, even the second grade leaders are planning to join various other parties. According to Botsa, he already possesses a list of such leaders who are likely to quit the party.
Who are there in the list? Will the number increase or decrease? With the presence of Chandrababu Naidu at Ganta’a daughter’s marriage, everyone presumes that Ganta will join TDP. In a similar vein, Erasu Pratap Reddy, TG Venkatesh is likely to join TDP. It is also learnt that the TDP senior leader KE Krishna Murthy has been coordinating the matter, after Chandrababu welcomed their entry.
Most of the migrations are expected from the leaders hailing from Srikakulam, Visakhapatnam, Chittoor, Anantapur, Prakasham, Nellore and both Godavari districts. The migrations will be equally shared by TDP and YSRCP, according to the sources.
As the situation of Congress Party is not fairly well in the Seemandhra region, it is learnt that most of the leaders have been planning to join various other parties. The following members are expected in the Botsa’s list:

  4. Gajuvaka - Venkat Ramaiah
  5. Bhimili - Srinavasa Rao

  7. Ramachandrapuram - Tota Trimurtulu
  8. Peddapuram - Pantam Gandhi
  9. Pithapuram - Vanga Geeta
  10. Narsapuram - Kottapalli Subba Raidu
  11. Bheemavaram - P. Ramanjaneyulu
  12. Tadepalli Gudem - Eeli Nani (Venkata Madhusudana Rao)
  13. Giddaluru - Anne Ram Babu
  14. Sarvepalli - Adala Prabhakar Reddy
  15. Nellore urban - Mungamuru Sridhar Krishna Reddy
  16. Madanapalli - Shah Jahan
  17. Nellore - Kutoohalamma
  18. Kamalapuram - Veera Shiva Reddy
  19. Panyam - Katasani Rambhoopal Reddy
  20. Tadipatri - JC Diwakar Reddy

The leaders who are willing to join other parties are in a waiting mode, according to the sources. With the planning of many leaders to join various other parties, now the position of Congress Party has been dragged into ditch in Seemandhra region.
