In the state of Andhra Pradesh, at present there are 9 parties already existing with at least one MLA seat. Form the other side, the state bifurcation matter is in the final stage. The Telangana draft bill, which has been tabled in the state assembly, has not seen even a single day for its debate. However, the bill has to be returned to the President of India by January 23, which turns to be the deadline.
Everyone’s focus is on what will happen after January 23? On Friday, speaking to the media, senior Congress Party MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao hinted that he will definitely join the party led by Kiran Kumar Reddy, if he opts to lead a new party after January 23. It’s a clear indication that there will be a definite move towards a new party to be led by Kiran Kumar Reddy.
From the other end, Chiranjeevi called on a meeting for his erstwhile PRP leaders alone, on Friday. According to the political analysts, Chiranjeevi may either demerge the PRP from congress party or outline another party for the want of not losing credibility at least in Seemandhra after the state bifurcation.
It’s likely that many more parties may mushroom on tracks, before 2014 general elections. It is worth mentioning here that Aam Admi Party has already on its way to establish its ingress in the state.
