Azeez Pasha’s fast enters 2nd day, MP Syed Azeez Pasha’s Fast. A host of leaders from the party joined him in the protest at AITUC office in Himayatnagar.
Hyderabad: Communist Party of India (CPI) National Executive Member and former MP Syed Azeez Pasha’s indefinite fast entered second day on Wednesday. He has launched the fast demanding that the government do justice to families of the Palem Volvo bus fire victims by fulfilling their demands.
A host of leaders from the party joined him in the protest at AITUC office in Himayatnagar.
Addressing the media, Azeez Pasha said that even after 70 days of the tragedy, the Chief Minister was apathetic to the families of the victims. He demanded that the government arrest the owner of the ill-fated Volvo bus JC Prabhakar Reddy and release an ex gratia payment of Rs 25 lakh to the families of the victims.
He also asked the government to take over private buses.
