Hyderabad: The state bifurcation matter has become the junction for many issues related to the politicians. Most recently, there is news wavering around in the state politics that the speaker of the state assembly, Nadendla Manohar wants to contest for Loksabha from Khammam constituency.
It is learnt that Manohar already attained consent from the leaders of Telangana region. It is likely that his chances of winning from Tenali are very dim. With this only apprehension, it is learnt that Nadendla Manohar is now planning to contest from Khammam.
According to the sources, Manohar planned to contest from Khammam as his father was an elected member of the same region and Khammam is an adjacent district of Guntur. According to the sources, Manohar was informed of the probable merger of TRS party with Congress party which also intensified his ideas of contesting from Khammam.
Also, Khammam is dominated by the social community, which Manohar belongs to. It is considered as an added advantage. According to the sources, Nadendla Bhaskar Rao will be the first Governor of Telangana state, reportedly.
