Amidst lot many speculations, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy started addressing in the house at late evening on Wednesday. Kiran began his speech stating that he opposes the Telangana draft bill.
When a question was posed to him by his own party senior MLA, Jana Reddy whether it was his opinion as an individual or in the capacity of the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Kiran Kumar failed to give a clear answer. Later, Jana Reddy said if it was his opinion as the floor leader, then they (Telangana leaders) were not with him.
Quoting the issues spoken by the Chief Minister as untrustworthy, the TRS leaders rushed into the speaker’s well and hold protest. After a repeated number of urges from the speaker and the Finance minister of the state, Anam Ramanarayana Reddy, they re-occupied their seats.
Many speculations are making rounds that the president of India may not extend the time for the discussions which is why Kiran opted to speak even at the late hours on Wednesday.
It is worth mentioning here that Thursday will be the deadline for the discussions on Telangana Draft Bill tabled in the state assembly.
