Hyderabad: After a long time, ever since the Telangana issue has turned to be the burning topic in the state politics, the Congress Party ministers and MLAs, both from Telangana and Seemandhra met on Tuesday in the Assembly lobbies. They all together called on the PCC Chief, Botsa Satyanarayana. Almost all ministers and MLAs complained to him, and AICC secretaries and in charges of state party affairs Tirunavakkarasu and Kuntia to take action against those behind the nomination of Chaitanya Raju in Rajya Sabha elections as an independent candidate.

The SC, ST and BC MLAs from the Congress belonging to either region expressed annoyance over the high command’s selection of candidates for Rajya Sabha and for not giving a chance to their communities. They wondered why MPs Nandi Yellaiah from SC and Ratna Bai from ST communities haven’t been considered as they are retiring.

From the other end, efforts are on to soothe the SC/ST members of Andhra Pradesh. Both the AICC observers and the PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana have reportedly admitted the fact that SCs/STs have been ignored in Rajya Sabha polls. Botsa urged the mutinies to spare for this time. He has reportedly promised them to get an appointment of Sonia Gandhi to seek justice, once the poll process gets completed. Further, he made a promise to get Nandi Yellaiah and Ratnabhai as MLCs.
