Kiran, Naidu behind division, alleges Jagan

Jagan lashed out at CM Kiran and TDP chief for their questionable role on Samaikyandhra. He alleged that Naidu with his two-eyed formula is instigating his party MLAs from Telangana and Seemandhra

Tirupati: It was the tacit support and approval from Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu that saw UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi to initiate the State bifurcation, YSRCP president and Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan Reddy alleged.

Addressing a public meeting at Renigunta, 10 km from Tirupati on Wednesday, Jagan alleged that Sonia Gandhi took up the proposal of State bifurcation solely for ‘votes and seats’ despite 70 per cent of the State population are against it.

Lashing out at both Kiran Kumar Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu for what he called their questionable role on Samaikyandhra, YSRCP chief said Naidu with his two-eyed formula instigating his party MLAs from both the regions i.e. ,Telangana and Seemandhra.

Jagan said that former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy with his welfare measures covering all sections of the society made the people appreciate his rule as a golden age and that enhanced the image of politicians.

But these leaders (Naidu and Kiran) with their divisive and cheap tactics to safeguard their interests not that of the people turned the politics and the politicians loathsome, he averred. Later, he participated in road shows in the villages between Renigunta and Damineedu near Tiruchanur. At Damineedu, Jagan addressed a public meeting.

Jagan who resumed his Samaikya Sankharavam campaign from Srikalahasti, reached Damineedu four hours behind schedule due to road shows covering all the villages from Srikalahasti to Renigunta.
