“We have been saying that we will agitate if the Centre goes ahead with tabling of AP Reorganisation Bill in the parliament even after it was rejected in the State Assembly, said P Ashok Babu, president of APNGOs.

“Uncertainty in respect of options, transfers, promotions and seniority of employees would prevail and the lives of the employees would be miserable with the division,” he said, adding that the statements of leaders created flutters among employees over their future. He said that there was no option before the employees except the strike to exert pressure on the Centre for not placing the Bill in the Parliament. He said that above five lakh employees would be on strike to save the Andhra Pradesh. He said that the both the Houses in the State rejected the Bill and Chief Minister himself asked President not to send the Bill to the government.
