VV Lakshminarayana gets new posting

Hyderabad: Senior IPS officer V V Lakshminarayana has been posted as Pune Police Commissioner.

It may be recalled that after he was relieved as the Joint Director of Hyderabad CBI office, he reported back to his parent cadre of Maharashtra. But for the past six months he did not get any posting orders.

Lakshminarayana was credited with cracking the Ramalinga Raju-led Satyam Computer scam in 2009-10 and also handled the much-talked-about YS Jaganmohan Reddy's disproportionate assets (DA) case.
