Srisailam festivities grow bigger, Mahashivarathri Brahmotsavams,Sri Bhramarambika Mallikarjunaswamy. On Tuesday, Lord Mallikarjuna and his consort will be taken around in the Kailasa Vahanam.

Srisailam: The grand Mahashivarathri Brahmotsavams being held at the famous Sri Bhramarambika Mallikarjunaswamy temple attracted bigger crowds on the fifth day on Monday.

Minister for Law and Courts Erasu Pratap Reddy and Minister for Infrastructure Ganta Srinivasa Rao presented silken attire to the presiding deities while Dollar Sheshadri presented them on behalf of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) at the Sri Krishnadevaraya Gopuram where Vedic priests conducted special prayers and rituals.

Earlier, Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy and his consort Goddess Bhramarambika were taken on the Ravana Chariot. Thousands of devotees thronged the temple. Later, they went in a procession to attend the Gramotsavams through the streets near the Srisailam Temple.

On Tuesday, Lord Mallikarjuna and his consort will be taken around in the Kailasa Vahanam.
