Need for Samajika Telangana: TDP

• Chandrababu addresses Praja Garjana in Khammam
• Says TDP got people rid of patels and patwaris in the past
• Now, it will strive for social justice in the new State

Khammam: TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday gave a clarion call to the people of Telangana to vote for TDP to achieve ‘Samajika Telangana.’ Addressing a mammoth gathering at Praja Garjana programme at Pavilion here, Naidu said that the agitation for separate State was now over and it was time to launch another agitation for achieving social justice and the seed for such a fight should be laid from Khammam which he said is the seedbed for agitations. During his one-hour speech, Naidu targeted TRS, Congress and YSRCP. He said the aim of KCR and YSRCP is to loot people.

“If you believe KCR, you will be duped. KCR is a very lazy person. He never attended the cabinet meetings on time,” he said. Reiterating the TDP was never against separate Telangana, Naidu said he had the fortune of being part of development of Telangana region.

He recalled the historic decisions taken by NT Rama Rao which freed the people of Telangana from the clutches of Patels and Patwaris. He warned people that if they vote KCR to power the TRS leader would sell Telangana . “KCR is vasul Raja (Collection King). ” In a tirade against the YSR Congress party President Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, Naidu said he was a ‘psycho.’

The YSR party leader floated the party for money and power and not for the welfare of people. He alleged that Jagan was auctioning party tickets for Lok Sabha for Rs 50 crore each and an MLA ticket for Rs 10 crore. The TDP leader also criticized the Congress for the unbridled corruption it had indulged in during the last 10 years both at the Centre and in the State. He called upon people to fight against the “10 headed Ravanasura” that includes TRS, YSR Congress and former Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s Jai Samaikyandhra Party and other parties affiliated to Congress.

He said TDP was the only party which was firm on its decision that a Dalit would be made the first chief minister of Telangana if voted to power. Other parties like TRS and Congress had made false promises. KCR who talked of making Dalit as the Chief Minister has taken a U-turn and Congress is indulging in double-speak, he said. Asserting that only TDP can ensure social and economic security and usher in social justice, Naidu said the TDP leaders would move forward at high speed and would be with the people and will also convince them about the need to bring TDP to power in Telangana. “From tomorrow you will see that the cycle will travel at bullet speed,” he said. Naidu said while the TDP was focusing attention on development of Telangana, the Congress and TRS had indulged in creating a wedge between Telugu people. He promised to ensure one job per family. He said only TDP has a clear plan to create employment.

It will see that a steel plant was set up at Bayyaram so that the local people can get jobs.
