Vijayanagaram: Huge Quantity of Ration Rice Seized. Early on Tuesday, the vigilance officials of Srikakulam district have seized 121.50kg rice belonging to ration quota, which was illegally stored in two rice mills located at Chilakapalli village of Balijapet mandal in Vijayanagaram district.
Hyderabad: Early on Tuesday, the vigilance officials of Srikakulam district have seized 121.50kg rice belonging to ration quota, which was illegally stored in two rice mills located at Chilakapalli village of Balijapet mandal in Vijayanagaram district. The rice is reportedly transported from Badangi and Terlam mandals from the local ration depots.
According to sources, qty 62.5kg rice was transported to Vasavi modern rice mill and qty 59kg rice was brought to Swamy Ramananda Rice Mill located in Chilakalapalli in mini vans. The same was seized by CH Uma Kanth and K. Paidi Naidu, the vigilance officials of Srikakulam district. During these raids the local revenue officials were also present.
