Seemandhra capital between Vijayawada, Guntur

Hyderabad: Modugula Venugopal Reddy, a Telugu Desam Party MLA, on Thursday said that TDP has been planning for the construction of Seemandhra capital between Vijayawada and Guntur. Due to that very fact, added Modugula that Chandrababu Naidu has decided to hold the swearing-in ceremony, in front of Acharya Nagarjuna University. He said that the capital would be at par with the other capital cities in the world. Further, he said that there was no conspiracy involved in the merger of Polavaram flood affected areas in Seemandhra. It was based on the previous ordinance only, added Modugula.

It is worth mentioning here that Chandrababu Naidu has officially announced the date of his swearing-in ceremony as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (residual). He has announced it from the podium of Mahanadu on Wednesday. He will be swearing-in as the Chief Minister at the Yuva Gharjana grounds, in front of Acharya Nagarjuna University that falls in between Vijayawada and Guntur. The date and time of the ceremony are announced by him as 11.45 a.m. on June 8. He invited all the leaders of TDP for the ceremony. Further, he said that he would disclose the venue for the TDP legislature meet within two days. However, the buzz is that the meeting will be held at Tirupathi on June 6.
