Hyderabad: Buildings Allocated for Andhra Pradesh, Telangana Governments, The State government on Friday issued orders allocating the buildings to Telangana and residuary Andhra Pradesh on the premises of Secretariat, Legislative Assembly and other directorate offices under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) purview.

Hyderabad: The State government on Friday issued orders allocating the buildings to Telangana and residuary Andhra Pradesh on the premises of Secretariat, Legislative Assembly and other directorate offices under the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) purview.
As per the orders, A, B, C and D blocks of the Secretariat were given to Telangana employees, CMO, Chief Secretary and General Administration Department. The departments like social welfare, tribal welfare, women and child welfare, minorities welfare, school education, higher education, agriculture, cooperation, industries, infrastructure, industry, revenue, finance, medical and health, municipal and Panchayatraj departments – of Telangana will be in ‘D’ block. Likewise, South and North blocks of ‘H’, K, L and J were given to residuary Andhra Pradesh government.
The CMO of Andhra Pradesh, Commissioner of Enquiries and Central Secretariat Library will be in ‘H’ block. The offices of Transport, Roads and Buildings, Home, Irrigation, Panchayat Raj, Higher Education, Backward Classes Welfare, Agriculture, Higher Education and Social Welfare departments and also the chambers of various ministers of Andhra Pradesh would be housed in the ‘J’ block. The offices of finance, general administration, vigilance commission, housing and revenue departments will be accommodated in North ‘H’ block.
The present Legislative House and Jubilee Hall were given to Telangana for housing the Telangana State Assembly and Council respectively. Likewise, the Old Assembly Hall and present Council Hall were allotted to AP Legislative Assembly and Council Houses respectively.The government issued 10 orders allotting official space to various corporations and directorate offices including cultural, agriculture, minorities, Markfed, and textiles and handlooms and other organisations located under the limits of GHMC area to the both States of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh governments. The GHMC also issued orders dividing Ministers quarters between the two governments. Block No’s 1-15 have been allotted to Telangana and 16-30 to Andhra Pradesh government. Similarly, MLA quarters 11-19 and 20- 13 blocks have been given to AP assembly and block No’s 1-10 and 24 have been allotted to Telangana Assembly.
