TDP lines up mega celebrations in T
Hyderabad: TDP Lines Up Mega Celebrations in Telangana, chaired a meeting of Telangana TDP leaders, directed them to organise large-scale celebrations across the new State.

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP), which emerged as the major opposition party in Telangana, has decided to celebrate formation of the Telangana State. Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, who chaired a meeting of Telangana TDP leaders, directed them to organise large-scale celebrations across the new State.

Announcing this after the meeting, Telangana TDP unit president L Ramana said, “Leaders and workers of our party will hold the State formation day celebrations across the 10 districts on a grand note. We are organising meetings and holding blood donation camps to observe at our party offices in various district headquarters and mandal headquarters.” According to party senior leader E Dayakar Rao, the party chief Naidu will take part in the State formation day celebrations at NTR Bhavan and hoist the national flag. The BJP oragnised celebrations at the party headquarters here on Sunday evening.
TBJP leaders cut a cake to express their joy and immediately went to Gun Park to offer floral tributes to the T martyrs at the martyrs' memorial. According to party sources, the BJP Telangana unit president G Kishan Reddy will unfurl the national flag at the party office on Monday morning. Both the CPI and CPM Telangana units also celebrated the occasion on Sunday evening. Secretaries of the Telangana units of both the parties will hoist the national flag on Monday morning at their respective offices to mark the formation of Telangana State.
