Visakhapatnam: Dadi Veerabhadra Rao Quits YSRCP, Flays JaganVisakhapatnam: YSR Congress Party leader and former minister Dadi Veerabhadra Rao has resigned from the party blaming its president YS Jaganmohan Reddy for the debacle in the recent elections and saying that the party would never be able to come to power.

Addressing a media conference here on Wednesday, he said he committed a mistake by joining YSRCP and corrected it by quitting it. However, he has, at present, no plans to join any political party, he stated. Holding Jagan responsible for the defeat of his mother YS Vijayamma, Dadi said that Jagan did not properly campaign for her. "How can a person who does not believe in his own mother and sister have any clarity?" he asked.

Launching tirade against Jagan, Dadi said Jagan gave tickets to criminals he came into contact while in prison to contest the elections. Jagan behaved like a dictator and never heeded anyone's advice, he said and cited the example of his refusing to announce loan waiver for farmers. He conducted the party without any human values, he alleged.

Jagan had buried the party and YSR ideals during the recent elections and the party workers did not believe he would run the YSRCP, he remarked.
"Jagan does not have the integrity and power to run the party and lacks credibility," he stated, adding that the people who noted this, kept him at bay.
