Hindupur will be a model constituency: Balayya

Hindupur (Anantapur): Local MLA and Telugu film actor Nandamuri Balakrishna on Thursday pledged to develop Hindupur as a model constituency in the State. He said the NTR Sujala Sravanti Scheme to be launched by the new Telugu Desam government in all likelihood would be launched from this area, which supported his father NTR, Balakrishna said.

He was speaking to the media after holding a review meeting on the town’s development with officials in R & B Guest House. Underground drainage and supply of 20-litre safe drinking water for Rs 2 by Bengaluru-based Mitra Fluoride Water organisation were among the issues discussed.
