Nellore: Gas leaks from Aqua industry

Hyderabad: Early on Tuesday, inside the GVR prawns industry at Chittedu of Kota mandal in Nellore district, there was a gas leakage incident, which ultimately led for a mad dash. The frightened workers rushed out from the industry from all possible ways. In this case of stampede, as many as 7 women workers suffered stern injuries. The women employees were not allowed to go out from the factory by the management. During this episode, the boots and other items have been spread away. The behaviour of the management resulted in the protest by the employees against the management.

In the process of warming up of the prawns, the intensity of gas has become more leading into the raising of blaze. The staff pulled out the cylinder and thrown away, thereby prevented a major fire accident. The other staff knew that the gas was leaking run away at once. As many as 7 women workers hurt in this incident. They have been getting treatment at a private hospital in Keshavarm. There condition is stable, added sources.
